Sika Backer Rod Fire
Sika Backer Rod Fire is a fire resistant, mineral wool based backer rod for interior and exterior joints in walls and floors. It is used in combination with SikaHyflex 250 Facade, Sikaflex AT Connection or Sikaflex PRO-3.
Uses
- Linear seals in fire compartments like stair cases, industrial facilities, warehouses, etc.
- Fire resistant joints exposed to chemicals or mechanical impact (in combination with Sikaflex PRO-3).
Characteristics / Advantages
- Very versatile, can be combined with 3 joint sealants
- Adapts all irregulariteis of the joint
- Up to 4 hours fire resistance
- Efficient application from rolls
