How long does wood preserver take to dry?
When using Sikagard Wood Preserver, we’d recommend leaving at least 2 hours of drying time before applying a second coat of the product. However, if you’re looking to apply paint, varnish or a stain over the top of the wood preserver, you’ll need to leave 48 hours to make sure the product is completely set.
Is wood preserver waterproof?
The Sikagard Wood Preserver is not a waterproof solution. When used externally, it will require a waterproof stain, paint or varnish to be applied over the top.
