Sika Efflorescence Remover FAQs

How does Sika Efflorescence Remover work?

The citric acid-based, hydrochloric acid-free formula breaks down and dissolves salt deposits without damaging the surface. It’s biodegradable and safe for regular use on most masonry materials.

Is Sika Efflorescence Remover safe for plants and the environment?

Avoid overspray onto plants, lawns, or metal surfaces. Once the treated area has been rinsed, the product is biodegradable and formulated to naturally break down.

How quickly does Sika Efflorescence Remover work?

The fast-acting formula starts working within 5–10 minutes, dissolving visible white deposits quickly and restoring your surface’s natural look.

How do I apply Sika Efflorescence Remover?

Simply pour, brush, or spray the product directly onto the affected area. Leave it for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat for heavy or stubborn deposits.

What causes efflorescence on brick and concrete?

Efflorescence occurs when salts and minerals migrate to the surface of porous materials like brick or concrete and form white deposits. It’s often caused by moisture movement within the structure.
