It is the customers responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If the courier is unable to deliver your order due to issues with access to the delivery address, your goods will be returned to the local delivery depot for delivery on the next working day. Please note a redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied. If your order is undelivered and returned to us a restocking fee may also be applied.
Please inform us of any delivery restrictions (eg weight restrictions, narrow roads). Failure to do so may incur a redelivery charge if the courier cannot access the delivery address due to undeclared or incorrect delivery restrictions. A redelivery charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied.
If your order is over 150kg it may be delivered on a pallet. The courier will notify you of a two hour delivery window. In the event that no one is available at the address to receive the delivery a charge of up to £89 plus VAT per pallet may be applied for redelivery.

What is Sika Concrete Primer LO?
Sika Concrete Primer LO is a 2-part, rapid curing adhesive for Decothane and Sikalastic Systems on cement based substrates.
How do I prepare the surface before applying Sika Concrete Primer LO?
Concrete / cementitious
- The substrate must be sound with a minimum tensile adhesion strength of 1,5 N/mm2, clean, dry and free of all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, coatings, laitance, surface treatments and loose friable material.
- New concrete must be cured for at least 10 days.
- Substrates must be prepared mechanically using appropriate substrate preparation equipment to remove cement laitance and achieve an open textured gripping surface profile suitable for the product thickness.
- High spots can be removed by grinding.
- Weak cementitious substrates must be removed and surface defects such as blow holes and voids must be fully exposed.
- Repairs to the substrate, filling of joints, blowholes/voids and surface levelling must be carried out using appropriate products from the Sikafloor, Sikadur and Sikagard range of materials. Products must be cured before applying Sika Concrete Primer LO.
- Remove dust by industrial vacuuming equipment.
Glazed tiles
- Make sure all tiles are securely fixed.
- Replace or fix any broken, loose or missing tiles.
- Remove glaze mechanically using appropriate substrate preparation equipment.
- Thoroughly clean the surface by power washing and allow to dry.
How do I mix Sika Concrete Primer LO?
Over mixing must be avoided to minimise
air entrainment.
Note: Use an electric single or double paddle mixer (300–400 rpm) with a spiral paddle for mixing.
Note: Mix full units only.
- Add Part B to Part A and mix Part A+B continuously for a minimum 3 minutes.
How do I apply Sika Concrete Primer LO?
Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in method statements, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.
- Confirm product application conditions: substrate moisture content, substrate, air and product temperatures, relative humidity and dew point (Refer to Application Information).
- Pour the mixed Product onto the surface. The consumption is specified in the Application Information.
- Apply the Product evenly over the surface with a short-piled roller or brush.
- Back roll the surface in two directions at right angles with a short-piled roller.
- The primer must be continuous and pore free.
